Cant imagine what the actual battlefield must hold.

You are a lucky dog. I can only dream of hunting such a productive area. Congrats on a great day.

Just a few 3 ringers but where they were found makes them historic. I'm amazed you can get anywhere near Gettysburg with a metal detector. Gary

Pretty awesome day- Congrats!

Hell yeah!! I live 10 mins. away from GBurg and you'd be surprised the area those guy's were in. I live on one of the main retreat routes from that battle and they were skirmishing the whole way back into Va. Great saves :icon_thumright:

Great finds....what history. In your top right photo, far right, is a circular metal ring, appears to have grooves in it? I found something very similar and it appears that it came from a parasol? Just curious as to whether you consider that to be accurate?

How do you get permission in Gettysburg with a metal detector. I was told if they caught you . They would almost cut your balls off.

Congrats on the very productive hunt! :icon_thumleft:

Looks like they had an umbrella to keep off the bullets...lol
