My third Sterling thimble this year , belt buckle dated Jan 1904 , model t parts dated April 1905, minors tag or work chit 17 , large gold plated ring, 1946 rosie and a American agriculture company watch fob. I have searched and can not find another example of the watch fob. With this much info and details I can normally find similar examples. Did find ,American Agricultural Chemical Company (AACC) was a manufacturer of superphosphate fertilizers that operated from around 1914 to around 1954. If anyone has additional photos or info on the fob it would be much appreciated . Keep swinging everyone

Quite a list of goodies. That'd sure make my day!

Looks like an awesome day! I can’t wait to get a detector! I’ve been wanting one for years, but with hobbies like offshore fishing and biking, I have never made time. I think that is about to change though…the itch is getting so bad I’m going to have to start scratching!

Couldn't find anything on the fob, maybe it is one of a kind lol;)

American Agricultural Chemical Company (AACC) was a manufacturer of superphosphate fertilizers that operated from around 1914 to around 1954 when a fire destroyed the facility (located in Cayce, South Carolina).
Don.....

That dating only relates to the operation in Cayce, South Carolina, Don. The fob is from their Baltimore operation.

AACC was formed by the co-operative merger of multiple smaller fertilizer companies in 1899 (at least one of whom had an existing plant in Baltimore) and grew to become the largest fertilizer company in North America, backed by key phosphate mines in Florida along with an extensive network of fertilizer production facilities and retail outlets across the United States.

In the 1960s, many of the big oil and gas companies with fat wallets began to diversify into another promising industry that was in the midst of the Green Revolution – agriculture – and more specifically crop inputs. As a result, in 1963, AACC and all of its divisions (including the Canadian division known as ACL) were purchased by the Continental Oil Company (Conoco).

That doesn’t get us to a specific date for the fob, but these were common gifts to customers (and employees of course had them too) throughout the period when pocket watches were the norm. Wrist watches weren’t commonly produced for, or worn by, working men until after WWI.
