Bob and I had a great hunt with some friends from North Carolina who came up the night before to hunt a new site with us. Joe Beckendorf, Curt Hollifield and a great young man that many of you have watched videos of his hunts, Michael Bennett better known as Nugget Noggin was the first to find a bullet. He walked just a few feet from the truck while the rest of us were still getting ready and dug a nice three ringer. We had a great time and look forward to some future hunts together. We just got permission to hunt this site and did a quick hunt last weekend. This place is pretty large with two huge fields to hunt. The day started out at 20 degrees and was pretty cold but you stay pretty warm when digging relics. I hope y'all enjoy the video.

I just watched Bob's video on You Tube Randy. You guys had fun there. The .56 cal. Colts are good finds. The .50 cal. Smiths are fun to find as well. WTG, Q.

I still enjoy watching nugget noggin's videos. It isn't very often a young man spends his time doing, and enjoys something so productive, entertaining and educational as our hobby. Looks like a great time!

Thanks Quindy. It was a lot of fun as usual. Nugget was great to hunt with and we really had a good time. We are still feeling out these fields as it is pretty large. Trying to find where the CS made their cavalry charge. The .56 Revolving Colt Rifles is what the 2nd Michigan used which was one of the units there. We mainly find .56 Colts, .50 Smiths and the .58 Minnies on this site and hoping for some CS buttons in the fields. Can't wait to go back there again.
