I have never found a nickel in a roll of halves! I did find a quarter in place of a half once, and a nickel in place of a quarter in a roll of quarters.

That's a great box--we would all be rich if every box was like that. I found one today too, (4) 90% and (15) 40%. It makes up for so many skunks lately.

as agme said i wish there were more boxes like it. I dont do halves very much so i would love for my nickels to be counted as halves

Very nice box, tops my best so far...

I managed to find a brinks bank(also my main dump bank, doh) but I got 1 box to test, and didnt find anything sadly

In my experience the following are signs of good boxes: miscounts or wrong coins in a roll, dirty coins, trash (paper, rubber band residue, etc). When I see these things I find silver. Clean coins and 100% proper counts are indicators of skunk boxes.

And a nickel in a roll of halves? That seems odd. I'd sure like to find a half in a nickel roll sometime....even if its just clad.....that would be very unusual.

Yup, I find the same thing, if there is dirt and debris and lint in the first couple of rolls, I usually find something.

Because of size you would not find halves in a nickel roll. A nickel can fit in a half roll obviously.
