Grayling area

The wife and I are going to Michigan to do some mushroom hunting and was looking for someone to tell me when there up in the area, I think it will be about May 13 were thinking of going. Do you think they will be up then? When do they usually start around that area? Thanks for any info and HH.

The darker ones have popped. Smaller now since it is cold asparagus has popped, May brings on the whites.

I'm no expert, but I think the middle of May be a little late...people are finding them now and I don't think they last that long.

Well I'm probably going north from where your at and have found them in Indiana till the end of May before, it's been some time since they went that late here but there still finding them here now so it should be about peak there at that time I would think. HH

The shroons are coming on pretty good now. It's all in the weather and we've had a early spring.
