Found this at a thrift store. I picked up this old tarnished gravy boat and it was very heavy...Silver?
No markings just a tiny "made in India" sticker on the bottom. Paid $3 for it. It weighs a little over a pound.

Does it have any stamps or hallmarks on it ? I'm thinking it's plate but not sure :icon_scratch:

Nothing but a tiny...made in India sticker and I'm thinking about peeling it off to see if there's any markings behind it.

Here's a scan of the tiny sticker on the bottom...

if it has a paper sticker or made in india probably just nickel or plated.
If a company that goes through the expense of making in silver they will tell you it is silver.

When I pick up things to look on the bottom the second I see a sticker I put it back, also goes the same it it has a felt/velvet bottom.
