Spent only 3.5 hours gridding from where we left off last weekend near the amazing Roman Brooch.

Half a Georgian Nut Cracker
Part of a 14th C Buckle
A few good buttons
9 Roman Coins (best one described below)
A surprise ID at home confirmed our oldest (IDable) Copper-alloy Roman Coin (had a couple of earlier Silver) of an Emperor we haven't had. It's also pre-Invasion by 1-2 years - AD41-42 Claudius AS, see below better image;

Although ours is in poor condition its still a very welcome addition to the album to fill an early gap

This isn't really one of our good sites, but it is one we haven't mapped the limits of yet, so anything may turn up. We will have to wait until late Aug 12 for our good sites
