Grandson gets first silver

We spent the weekend at my daughters in the metro east St Louis area. My 9 year old grandson, Jake and I went to a couple schools in the area on Memorial day. Jake had his dad's DFX and when he would find something I would scan it with my SE and tell him if he should dig it. After about 20 min at the 2nd school he called me over to scan a target, I told him it was probably a dime and to go ahead and dig it. Well, out pops a 1959d Rosie, boy was he excited.and a His first silver coin. We also got $7.83 in clad and a music award, plus the usual junk. Thanks for looking.

Congrats to your grandchild Good to see the younger generation getting into this hobby. It will keep them busy and motivated. Kids and teens are my major 'cheerleading group' unlike grown-ups who are often not exactly detectorist-friendly.
