Is it still active today? And thank you I will research more on it.Most of that is eastern star. Women’s masonic.
How do I find a Mason?Sure, it's still active. They won't seek you out, or volunteer info. You must ask a Mason. My Grandmother was Eastern Star. Never mentioned it.
Thank you for your time to help it's appreciated. You can find a Masonic Temple in your nearest city, in a directory, probably. Or Order of the Eastern Star. They have many spin-off fraternal organizations. Wherever your Grandmother lived, find the nearest one. That's where she went. Someone there knew her, probably, if not too long ago.

I don't want to sell it. I want to learn it's history and be granddaughtered in possiblyYou may find the jewelry has more sentimental value than a potential sale price.
Don.....
It has alot of numbers and letters on the inside of it. But the money value is not what I am wanting to know. But yes it's a very nice ring and has been in family for long time it seems. That ring I'm thinking is gold and possibly real diamonds. Can you see a mark on the inside of the band?
Yeah I got that, as I have some jewelry from my grandmother and you should really know if it's something of value, so those who come after you will have the information that it isn't just junk jewelry they've just been handed down. I frequently shop thift stores and very often find things of value that more than likely were handed down from an ancestor with no knowledge of how valuable the item is to a descendant who most likely saw it as clutter after this ancestor of theirs had past. A perfect example of this happening to me was finding this box of silver items in this post I added a time back https://www.treasurenet.com/threads/my-silver-haul.644684/#post-6632447It has alot of numbers and letters on the inside of it. Yes just a question if you don't mind is silver or gold or dimond always marked in some way ?Yeah I got that, as I have some jewelry from my grandmother and you should really know if it's something of value, so those who come after you will have the information that it isn't just junk jewelry they've just been handed down. Though I didn't mention it in the post the box all this silver was in was marked with a black marker, on one of the flaps, something like, Uncle Fred's silver collection. Someone donated it all to a humane society thrift shop and I just so happened to enter the place on the prowl for treasure. I paid very little for all this silver uncle Fred, who ever he be had clearly treasured because of what he knew about it. I've added info to all I've stashed, by the request of my wife because she has no clue what all this stuff I tell her has value. She says it all still looks like old cluttering junk to her. Hopefully she'll believe what I've documented as fact, if I happen to not let go of any of it before I check-out.
No I have or had items of gold and silver that are not marked with a grade stamp. Especially fraternal order and sorority pieces that are solid gold. When you said the ring has a few markings on the inside, it may be possible its inscribed with a name, as that was commonly done on jewelry such as that ring. The ring to me looks earlier then the other items. It may be the ring originally could have been first owed by a further back ancestor of yours. I'm not 100% sure, but that ring looks to me to be made no later than the the 1930s and very possibly earlier?Yes just a question if you don't mind is silver or gold or dimond always marked in some way ?
