I had to go help babysit my baby cousin this morning and before I left my Grandmother told me to take the velvet bag on the counter. She said she found it in her closet and had "some old coins" in it and that I would probably like it. The majority of it is foreign currency and the real keepers of the bunch are a 1921 Morgan, a 1917 Mercury, and either a 1916 or 1917 version 1 Standing Liberty. I cant exactly tell. Very nice! Would take a gift like that any day. It looks like 1917 liberty.

Like badski78 said, you didn't even have to get dirty

Sweet! Are you going to throw them out in the yard so you can find them with your detector?

Just so you know, I made that comment about the 1916-17 quarter because even in that very low-grade a 1916 SLQ can be worth over $1000 as there were only 52,000 made.
