Went metal detecting with Paul in WA and his daughter at a park near Grand Coulee Dam and town of Wilbur. From both parks my finds totaled 6 dimes; 5 nickels; 16 pennies; miniature Etch-A-Sketch; key; sprinkler part and one magic lip key chain. Not sure of Paul in WA finds, but in all had a good time detecting in 100 degree heat and rock hard ground in Wilbur.

Thats awesome dude! Yeah washington state you don't really find much from what I have noticed. You have to go into other states. Glad you had a great hunt!!!!

GREAT that you and Paul got out for a hunt! Won't be long and those temps are going to cool down for us!

Congrats on those finds!!

Nana :)

I ended up with a few dollar in clad, which my daughter was happy to take off my hands, and a 1942 S war nickel. It was hot, but not near as hot as it was in Wenatchee....as I was driving by the bank, sign said it was 111, and it felt every bit of it. We find our fare share of the old stuff here in Washington, you guys just have a 200 year head start on people loosing stuff.
