Welcome to Treasure Net!!

I believe it reads, in part: KROLOWA KORONY POLSKIEJ meaning QUEEN OF THE POLISH CROWN.

In 1656, after the siege of Jasma Gora, in the name of the whole nation, the king proclaimed and parliament confirmed that from now on Mary would be venerated as "Queen of the Crown of Poland".

I believe the obverse of the medal (or medallion, not coin) represents part of the litany in a Catholic service used to pray for Polish victims of WW II.

The reverse phrase: POLEGLI na polu CHWAŁY can be translated as KILLED in ACTION and was used in connection with losses suffered by the 1st. Polish Armoured Division during the campaign 1944/1945 in Western Europe. (Source:http://www.polishwargraves.nl/info/gen.htm)

On January 25, 1831, the Polish Congress formally declared King (Czar) Nicholas I. deposed, as King of Congress Poland, thus dissolving the Dynastic Union that bound Poland to Russia. Your date of 1831 may be related to that event.
