There are better ways to make money. You could sue the wife of a dead seal. That guy's mouth is much bigger than his brain.

Chris Kyle the liar?
He changed his story and even the bar owner said it didn't happen.

“The event this man spoke of never happened. I have been to Mc P’s many times since leaving the Navy. I was never there alone. I was always accompanied by other people. If this happened 6 years ago, someone would have known of it before now. Certainly in the UDT/SEAL community it would have been known. This has to be news to all of us. I have always opposed the war in Iraq but I have never spoken or wished any ill will towards the soldiers. My heart aches that soldiers have died or been wounded because this war should never have taken place. I am perplexed over the agenda this man has and why a fellow Navy Seal would tell a lie about an event that never happened. Clearly between this story and the previous week’s story about supposedly getting pulled over for tailgating in CA that was also a lie, someone is out to destroy my credibility.

Later Kyle changed his story that it happened outside on the sidewalk. With only a couple people around.

Kyle doesn't seem to be the type to punch someone and then run away.

Jesse even offered to settle out of court if Kyle agreed to admit he lied about the incident and pay for Ventura’s lawyer bills. Kyle refused. It’s very clear that Kyle was going to be embarrassed by the lies he put in his 2012 book, American Sniper. Some believe Kyle was persuaded to tell lies about Ventura. Kyle claimed to have eyewitnesses who would verify his allegation of punching Jesse Ventura for badmouthing United States soldiers.Jesse Ventura made it clear he has multiple witnesses who know the incident never occurred. Among the witnesses is the owner of the bar involved with Kyle’s claims. Jesse Ventura’s libel suit against the retired Navy Seal is supposed to take place sometime around June 2013. I’m not sure what this means for the lawsuit but many believe Kyle’s death is suspicious.

There are dozens and dozens of interviews and video's of Ventura talking about navy seals before and after this lie and never has he ever put down any soldier. Seems kinda funny for a guy to continue to go to functions and talk and support seals to all of a sudden bad mouth them.
Kyle was a great soldier and also an ego maniac. Pretty sure if this actually happened, people would of known about it before the book came out 6 years later LOL.

I did not know either one of them. I have seen interviews and shows with Mr. Kyle and never saw him act like an ego maniac.

But every time I see "the Body" he is spouting something or other and trying to find the nearest camera.

And if he really was a great guy and upstanding citizen, why continue to sue the wife of the murdered seal, who was trying to help fellow serviceman at every chance? He donated a lot of time and money to charities.
The Real Legacy of Chris Kyle: A ?True American Hero? Who Devoted His Life to Serving Others | TheBlaze.com

"
Upon returning from the Navy, Kyle also founded Craft International, a military and law enforcement training company, and co-founded the FITCO Cares Foundation and other charitable events benefiting wounded and disabled veterans returning from combat.
He expressed a strong desire to spend more time at home with his wife, Taya, and their two kids, but felt as though he had an obligation to continue giving back to his fellow servicemen and women.
“Chris was a true American hero, having devoted his life to serving his country in combat as a member of the United States Navy SEALs and in training our military and law enforcement personnel after leaving the Navy,” Jeff Kyle said on behalf of the Kyle family on Monday. “We’re all saddened by his tragic death and America has truly lost one of its finest sons and a true patriot.”

I won't deny he was excellent at serving his country. I'd want him on my side.
But he was like a comic book character in some of the things he did. Like the Punisher skull emblazoned on his and others in the his group on their helmets, body armor, and weapons. Not positive, but Craft Int. still uses it today. Even a few close to him in the service said he just wasn't going to be able to fit back into society normally. He was made for military and was a killing machine. Really difficult for him to turn that off.
I'm not a fan of Jesse continuing on with the law suite either. When Chris died, it should of died. But there's a lot more to it than we know.

I agree. This looks like a face saving suit and I think Jesse should drop it. I am sure his service was exemplary, but this suit needs to be dropped, it looks bad and it leaves me with a really bad concept of the man. It is hard to play he said -he said with a widow that wasn't there, and expect my agreement.
