The Gould gold dredge seems to be a quick light setup, has a fine gold recovery rate..Why isn't being used more in the streams?
I thought most of the gold in fast running streams was fine gold. The gold in the Northeast is mostly fine to flour gold. It seems most high bankers and dredges move the material through too fast to get the fine to flour gold. Maybe the romance of the nugget overwhelms the practical collection for money.
Has anyone had experience in the NE using a Gould type sub-dredge?
