The farmers here in upstate new york are starting to cut the corn. Here is what I stumbled across today.. Its a 1723 Britannia. ANy idea how to get more detail to show? And does anyone have a idea of value? My oldest coin so far :hello2:

try placing in in vegetable oil for a week or two
my oldest is a Chinese square from the 1600's

Nice oldie and a readable date. I'd let it alone, it's about as good as it's going to get. I agree with Iron Patch, Electrolysis is a tricky thing and not for most coins. HH Bob
