Gotta Box

2 90's from one box... and one is a frankie! SAWEET.

Sad days when such a score is viewed as sweet though... but hey... whatchya gonna do.

What condition was the proof in?

~Dave

No scratches. I have a set I put together from 1971 to 2008. I am now working on one for my Grand daughter.

Was the set only from CRH... or did you buy/trade for any? If so... what percent was found just from your CRH efforts?

Can we get some pics of the whole set? I'm curious what kind of condition all the coins are in... as I have found proofs in any number of states my self and have seen the same from other people's pics from their finds.

A collection like that warrants from pictures and praising replies. ;)

Dave, Because you asked. It looks like 7 of the 38 I traded for. Either another Proof or a 40. Either way it cost me 50 cents. Almost all of them are AU. The one closeup shows the quality. I haven't put the 2008 in yet.

Sweet collection! And thanks for the pics.

Looks like they are all in very nice shape for being pulled from boxes, etc. You must have had to pull a bunch of proofs in worse shape and had to throw them back or at least not put them into the collection.

Have you run across any of the silver proofs?

Believe it or not nearly all the proofs I find are in mint shape. I haven't tossed back to many. I have found a 1968, 1970, 1997, and a 1976 silver proof.

nice collection!

Nicely done there S_F, for the CuNi's I'm just missing '04, '07 & '08.

Thanks for the photos, too.
