So I was up by Quandary Peak here in Summit County, CO this a.m. Terrible for landscape pics as smoke from wildfires in the northwest has drifted down. Those goats are gettin underneath my pickup to try and lick salt from the under side. They spend a lot of time looking for salt sources. I kinda liked the marmot pic.

So are those wild mountain goats, RGINN? You better watch those things, they'll be climbing on top of the pretty black Silverado :) .
And I love the marmot picture! Never seen those before.

Cool Shots!!! Like the goats, but really like the composition of the marmots. I see lots of marmots along the hwy south of where I live, along Klamath Lake.

You're right Charmin, they will hop right up on top of your truck if you don't run them off. It's a Colorado, not a Silverado. Kinda the poor man's Silverado I guess. I don't know what was up with the marmots cause they usually are camera shy. These guys were perfectly happy with posing.
