Had a call this morning from a distressed customer, saying that her first attempt at gardening had turned into a disaster.
She had lost her white gold and diamond engagement ring and had scratched around desperately trying to find it, and did I still have my MD that I mentioned to her husband 2 months ago?
Did I still have it? Of course! and I would be there at 4pm.
All the usual questions...... area, did you stray possibly over there, when did you notice the ring missing, did you wash your hands at any stage, have you taken weeds etc to the landfill?
Ok got that all sorted and started to swing.
That yard is full of foil and lead head nails.
Started at 6" to 8" depth and cleared out a bit of junk, not there.
OK, 4" to 6" depth..... shotgun pellets, this was gonna be hard!
1" to 4" and second swing, gotcha!
1" down and it was squashed into the hard soil, meaning that she had inadvertently stood on it plus a bit of loose soil on top.
She was over the moon, and I wished that I had the camera....well I did but the batteries were flat ....so no Pic.
A bottle of wine in payment, and the warm fuzzes..........
Ya can't beat this hobby
