Fun stuff! You probably already know that the thing in the last two photos is an automotive thermostat. The Terre Haute (Indiana) City Lines token is #890D in the Atwood Catalog of U.S. & Canadian Transportation Tokens. As I read the catalog, the company was from Jun 1948 to 1954 when the Terre Haute Transit Co. took over and introduced tokens with their name on them in 1959, probably when they ran low on the City Lines ones.

thx. token guy...can i call you that? i thought the whatisit? thing was some kinda diaphragm from a pump...as for the bus token..thx. again as i only found a small amount of info. on it..i guess finding something such as this is not unusal..indiana...ohio...i have found a few tokens i have yet to identify. thx...HH.
OWG...

Nice token, the hammer looks to be a modern ball peen hammer. Great finds

In your hand you are showing off a a knife section from a sickle bar mowing machine. These were riveted to a bar that rapidly went back and forth and cut hay. Biggest pain in the butt imaginable, hit a gopher mound or a mouse nest and the darn thing would plug up. Now days they have mowers that the knives spin, and they mow hay as fast as the tractor will go and the driver won't get bounced off the seat.

I got a question, ohiowhiteguy. The ax head you have pictured, is it after the vinegar soak. I first tried apple cider vinegar last summer on a couple wedges, after 3 weeks they were still not rust free. I have been soaking a revolver for 3 weeks now and very little rust has come off. I will stick with electrolysis in which I have cleaned ax heads in 12 hours. Waiting a month for vinegar to work is way too long a time period.

i let it soak for a week .took it out and used a small hammer to get the loose iron off..same thing the following and etc. till i was happy with it.
how did yours look after electrolysis? i wouldn't recommend using my method for anything that might actually be something...
i haven't tried electrolysis yet..what do you use for it? i heard a battery charger water? not sure....HH
OWG.. PS. leave it outside.while soaking....puuu....

I went to electrolysis. Built my own rig and it works like a charm.

I agree with oldsalty19 on the pump item. That other item looks like a cabinet handle. Is the necklace part silver?

looks like silver gonna cook it with baking soda..no visible markings..
