I'm at work and I get a call from my wife.."Honey, I got some quarters that don't sound right". I said "what do you mean?" while thinking to myself "couldn't be". She told me that they sound different and then she told me the years. I told her to hold onto them and I asked her where she got them.
On Saturday she had to take a business trip out of state so she had a friend of hers watch the store while she was gone. (My wife is into alternative healing and we turned my ma and dad's place into a temporary store). So anyways this friend of hers also does the alternative medicine thing and on Saturday she had a customer that paid her for her healing work with a roll of quarters. This friend ended up using some of those quarters to buy some beverages while she worked and that's how my wife ended up with ten of them. I had my wife call her right away and ask her if she still had them. The friend said she had two or three dollars worth left and that she would save them for me
. She had already spent the rest of the roll on other things 
. So the quarters below I did not even have to pay face for them - a gift from my wife. 
Here are what I have so far. I figured that this was an appropriate forum as they were in a roll originally plus I have not posted anything good here in so long I thought it was time.
10-31-08 Tonight my wife got the rest of the roll that her friend had not spent. Not as many as I wished but I am very happy anyways.
