I thought I would post my Last bag of trash,,,along with my $3.49 in Clad...first.....I dig A-L-O-T of beaver tails, and pultabs going for Nickles....
I was on my way to meet Etrac007,and I spoted another Street Tear out.........I found plenty of Clad,,,,a Sac $...a No date S mintmark SLQ,a 1962 d Rosie, and at first I thought it was a brass washer.....I went to put it in my trash pouch ,and as I was reaching for the pouch I was thinking..Brass comes in High tone and numbers this was Low.....just then I dropped it,,and it took me 10 seconds or so to find it again.....sure enough it was Gold 14k,,,,and come out of the ground looking like this....
It was only a block long tear out...But it was about 8 am when I thought I better call 007,and let him know I will be there in an hour........His number somehow got lost in my phone book,,,,but I straightened that out when I met up with him after 9 am........
Most of the wheaties were hiding from me today, but that didn't stop 007 from finding His Indian.
He also showed me those Nice wings...(WWII bomber crew maybe ?)....I got a beat up 1901 barber dime tho,007 was on his cell phone so I didn't bother him,,,,and found a 41s Jeff and 43P war nickle, along with 4 wheats total....About 45 minutes after 007 left...I found the V Nickle....Hunted about 10 more minutes and called it a day......
