well after several weeks of trying to set up a hunt, i got out with Bob today. we hunted a local park that used to be a camp at one time in its history. this park is pretty much picked clean at this point, but we did manage a few keepers. i got these two Indian head pennies, an 1888 and an 1867. in my blue book the 67 is listed at $22 in G4, which made me happy! I'm not sure what this one would grade at (probably not to good) but for me its still a nice find! Bob really cleaned up today, but i will let him post his own stuff. keep an eye out for his finds later on! i thought about doing the peroxide treatment on these pennies but I'm afraid i will just make them worse. has anyone ever tried the peroxide method on Indians? for now i am going to leave them as they are. at any rate, it was a Saturday well spent!
