Got out with friend today and found...............

A 1940 wheat, a junk ring and a nice 1898 Barber, down around 10 inches. Found it with my Explorer SE stock coil sensitivity set at 19. The Barber hit hard and was easy to pinpoint. Also found the usual clad 8 quarters and 5 dimes. Went to big field which is fairly old.

Great finds! I've yet to get a barber, so I'm a tad bit jealous.
Funny thing, I actually found the same ring a while back! It had little red stones in the snake's heads. (Probably plastic or glass) I never found out anything about it though. Let me know if it turns out to be the priceless long lost snake ring of the Hapsburg Dynasty! (Or something similar.)
