Thought I had better take advantage of this weather before it gets bad out. We started out the day looking for some new clearcuts that we heard about and we found them. There were around 5 or 6 big clearcuts, seen a fella out as we were driving by so I stopped to find out more about them and they are divided up between different landowners and he didn't own any of and said to ask a fella up the road, so I went to the fella up the road which was a person I was supposed to be asking for permission (refered by who told me about the clearcuts.) Fella came out said the other fella wasn't home to come back next week and they weould probably let me but they were in Tn. and would be back next week. So we went to try to get into another place that some deer hunters found 6 points in some dozed land in the woods. Didn't get in( long story ) but I found out who actually owns it so I'll be paying them a visit. I don't know if the dozer/owner even know there was anything found back there. But I hope to get in there. So after wasting a couple hours we headed for an old spot . On the way there my son said lets dig a cave that we know of there and so thats what we headed for. Not far into the walk through a grownover clearcut heading for the shelter, I found the crude little triangle pictured. My son dug mostly and found the broken blade pictured, pretty thin well made wish it would have been complete for him.
