Got Out On The King's Birthday
Hey everyone. Went out yesterday for a few hrs with my son and brother. It was cold but not freezing. It was about 41 out. We went to this old park I have been hunting for the last week. I had to pick and choose what targets to dig because all the water that was on the ground froze up over the last few cold days. This park is all slopes to. So the water runs down them and alot of the ground was frozen.
About 20 minutes into the hunt Lances batteries died on him. I felt bad and he didn't want me to have to go and buy him some batteries so he just surface hunted with his eye's. It was slow because of the digging but good to get out. Found 3 wheats and a few cool relics.
Hope the weather stays somewhat mild. I have some other area's I would like to hunt. It takes alot to keep finding spots since I basically never call it quits. But I'll keep looking and reading.
