Got out in the rain today, found a huge excavation site, it looks like someones been busy in a state park near my house, hundreds of old bottles, mostly broken, some pottery, looks like an old dump. ALOT of iron junk.. no coins to be found, i didnt find any relics i wanted to keep but someone dug at least 50 6-7ft deep holes out there. I thought i'd find some silver nearby but not today i guess, i also hit another village park where i know a house used to stand in the 20's - nothing but clad but im going to hit it at higher sensitivity tomorrow. Also i live in a really densely populated area and i see tell tale signs of detectorists everywhere. Im dying to find some good coins. I got my eye on a construction site for tomorrow. Wish me luck!
