I headed out this morning to a picnic grove in hopes of scoring another Rosey. I met up with Mikewaz and we began working the field slowly, since lately a few coins have been popping up in areas there we have hit time and time again.
Within ten minutes, I got my first decent signal, and it ended up being a 1943 merc. ALWAYS with this place, a silver right off the bat, then a long drawn out period of nothing, lol. I also found a clad Kennedy half dollar, been a long while since I found one of those. Out of nowhere, it began drizzling, then it began raining a little harder. Mike and I ran to the cars, got into them, and then as soon as it started, it stopped. We got out of the cars and then it began to rain again! Then it stopped. We eventually made our way to another grove nearby where I discovered an area littered with garbage- but also containing some old coins, evidently. I dug a few wheats, then another merc, a worn '36. Before we decided to call it quits (temps were rising), we hit a soccer/baseball field, where my first target was a sterling ring.
Eventually, the heat got to us so we took off. As I type this, it is pouring cats and dogs out there, hopefully none of you guys got caught out in it. I had a good time and am hoping you all had fun productive weekends as well.

The wheats are 45-D, 28, 53-D, 58-D, and a 45. JFK is an '83.
