Very nice. I like that early stemmed knife. 2nd from the right on the bottom. Any chance of getting a close up on it? I found one last yr but it is made from black quartzite and doesnt show well in photos. Yours looks more defined as to the secondary flaking. That is some sweet lithic material also.
hey thanks for looking ya.
rock,i will get a better pic for ya of the knife, this hunt was a couple of sites i got to.i really does not take much to find sites like these round me,tell everyone you hunt blend it into your life.i have for five years now and pepole take me everywere i just remember the good ones and go back, often.i like creeks and springs in tennesse.but i think there everywere.

Man that is very cool Jamey. It is more than just river cobble. Big ole reduction flakes. That material looks good. Might have been a lot of material though so they just chunked it and went for the bigger stuff. I get buckets of those "blanks" Nice thanks for sharing. You been metal detecting any?
jamey I really like the artifacts you post. The quality of the stone is outstanding in every piece you have posted. What state are you finding these in? Just in case I ever want to move, lol
