I finally bought a used X5 from someone local. Let the learning curve begin. I just played around in my well hunted yard just doing airtests. Wow. Big difference in airtests compared to the Shadow X2. It airtested on my wedding ring 14-15 inches on fixed ground balance. Can't wait until next weekend to start playing with it.

Thanks Sandman. It's not really a good machine for the kind of hunting you do, but it excels
in my kind of hunting. Mainly fields, old homes, parks. The reason the person I bought it from was selling it was due to it not working very well for her wading and wet sand. Take care and good luck out there.

Congrats on the new machine Mike! By the sound of those air tests, maybe it's time to go over the same ground you've been working lately. Let us know how the X5 works out.

Hi Mike

I saw your posting on the Shadow forum. As a X-5 owner I know you are going to have a lot of fun. The lightweight nature of the machine means thats you can hunt all day without arm fatigue.

Hey Ricardo, how goes it? Yes I definitely plan on going to all the places I go and start all over looking for some more. How's that Explorer treating you?
Take care, Mike

Thanks George. I know I like this machine already. Both my partners use the X5 as well. I can't see much of a difference from the X2 to the X5 in weight at all.

Can't complain Mike, the only other machine I would buy at this time is another XS incase this one ever breaks!
