It had been about a week since I was able to get out to "really" relic hunt and dug some nice old colonial stuff. I decided to use the 9" x35 coil at 26kHz (expert adjustment to 23kHz) and Reactivity 3. I was pleasantly surprized by the stability and quickness of the coil in my mild Savannah soil. Also, unbelievable depth. The button with the "Standard Colour" on the rim was dug at about 10", which is deep at this site. I'm going to be using this coil for awhile to see what I can pull out in the iron.
