Hey Y'all,
Well, it finally came around. Picked up four boxes of halves this past week, only five 40%ers and a clad "S" proof. Boxes are getting reeeeal poor...
Anyhow, the processing company that used to deliver to my pick-up bank was bought out by another that serviced my dump bank. I had the feeling when this happened things would get worse... and they did.
I found five coins I know I dumped a few months ago... and no, I didn't mark them. Two had/have blue enamel painted reverses, one was chrome plated with bezel marks and a distinct scratch on it, one had/has an obscenity stamped into the obverse, and another had been shot with a BB gun five times, twice on the obverse, three times on the reverse.
I reckon the loop is complete... bad for me. Hand rolls, where are you?
