Hey all....got my new pro pointer for x mas yesterday, worked great, dug a wheatie right off the bat...didnt find much considering it was freezing and ive been hitting that spot knowing there is siver there I havent found yet...oh well HH everyone...Craig...

wheats are sweet!!! did you get your pointer on line?? been meaning to get one. I could have really used it today to get past super root mats on 1800's lawn!. ( I did get some silver)

i do like it alot, seems to chatter a bit if pressed at the tip, even if i press my palm there..but over all i love it, now i just need this cold air in NY to go away...

Mine was doing the same thing and had to send it back to Garrett and they sent me a new one.

Hi, Congrats on buying a Garrett Pro Pointer. I thought I would give you a tip that might
help you. After you dig the hole, put the pointer in the hole and THEN TURN IT ON. This will let the Pro Pointer ground balance itself. This tip will help you in really bad soil.

Also another tip, after you have located the target with the pointer, quickly turn it off and then back, this will pin point the target exactly.

Hope these tips will help others.
