I spent 4.5 hours (Dad just over 3 hrs) on some really tough Wheat stubble which was going to be drilled with Oilseed Rape tomorrow, so this was our only chance. I knew this area should produce because its next to a field we did over Winter & we had discovered an Ancient Trackway crossing into this field. Trackways don't normally produce that much but this one must have been very busy. I found 90% of the stuff as the large coil on the stubble was pretty forgiving & Dads cortes struggles.

Very cool, hoping their plans are wrong and you can get in there again!

No chance of that, they are way behind because of this recent rain.

Now that's some greatness there :icon_thumright: Awesome finds congrats ! :occasion14:

It's not like you actually lost your mojo.....you may have forgotten where you put it for a day.....but you definitely didn't lose it.

Maybe I lost it in the ditch.

More like 10 minutes. With 22 banner finds and seemingly daily posts of museum worthy items, I'm leaning towards the idea that Crusader is a metal detecting super hero. I've heard that he doesn't even turn his detector on, just swings it to disguise his gift from the mere mortals.

Good to see you back on your game Cru, imagine the shock of having a off day.:)

Awesome finds.

Your off days are as good as my great days . Glad to see your back on the finds . Although to be honest when you list what you find then post the pictures associated with them its kind of a match game for me trying to figure out which description goes with which picture . :laughing7: Because the stuff you find is so far out of my league that im just guessing . But I still love every post and pictures of yours

1 Roman Coin picture added.

BOY YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO RUB MORE SALT INTO THE WOUND DONTCHA . I CANNOT BELEIVE THE STUFF THAT YOU KEEP FINDING . THOSE BUCKLES ARE DANG OLD . ONE NICE COLLECTION OF FINDS .
