Got my first Negative feedback because someone can't read

I sold gold bracelet listed it as a men's bracelet 7 1/4 inches long. Had the size on there and the weight on the listing. Sent it to the guy who bought it now. Three weeks later he emails me all mad and upset. He wants his money back because the bracelet doesn't fit him it's too small. So he emails me wants to return it. I give him my address to ship it back and he leaves me negative feedback. Saying I listed it as an adult bracelet and it's a child's bracelet. So after I saw he left negative feedback I emailed him and just said to keep it. If he would like to change his feedback that I'd be happy to work with him but if not then he needs to open a case to eBay. And I know there's nothing I can do other than eat the negative feedback and give him his money back after emails the thing to me.

I would not give him his money back until i had the bracelet back in my hands... And then block him from bidding on my items...... Seems like you are having problems at garage sales and Ebay. ???????

I'm happy. EBay removed the negative feedback

I put everything correct. He can't read. Not my fault. That is the best score of the year!!

That happened to me. I measured a ring put the ring size in the email and still received a neutral feedback saying "i was lucky it fit his pinky finger" I dont know what else I could have done differently in this case. Kind of frustrating.

Do you mean you can keep the money and the bracelet?

No he has to send the bracelet back in order if he wants to get his money. But once it gets here I'll gladly refund him.

I would call Ebay and tell him and I'll remove it. If you put the size there and you put the type a ring it was there and he left bad feedback because of that then you did nothing wrong at least that's what they just told me. By the way he paid over $100 for 2 g 14k bracelet.

I figured ebay would remove it once you called them. I cant believe the price people are paying for precious metals right now. $100 bucks for 2g seems really really high considering 14k is what about $16 bucks a gram? I dont know im asking.

It's good to see a happy ending with an Ebay issue. Unfortunately the "new improved" Ebay won't allow you to leave a negative against a buyer. He sure deserves it.

I'm glad it worked out for you BK! I buy and sell on ebay and it can be very stressful at times!

$23/ gram. It was a Figaro bracelet. That stuff does well. I had a necklace that got $250 over spot too from someone else. I'm a diehard jewelry buyer! Going to check some out tomorrow too from a call I got this evening. All silver.

Good you got your neg. removed. Same kind of thing happened to me a couple of times now both time negs. removed by ebay. Every now and then you just get a person that just can't see past the thought they just got ripped off shopping on line let alone them not reading the details. It sucks you can't punch back anymore on buyers. I've been getting allot more slow payers in recent sales. I'd like to say, person bid with out the money, so no one else could have it & pay me on their terms.
