Howdy all,
Had a fun day today. Met up with Detectorfreak and headed out. After a couple busts we ended up back at the slope. This is the same spot that has delivered tokens, wheats, a walker, and tons of other odds and ends. The real obvious signals are gone, but the iffy's are still there. Todays iffy was an 1883 V nickel. Its real thin and real toasty but its got a date. 9 inches down and on edge so the signal was not very convincing. But for the sake of "oh well" I dug it any way. Thanks for lookin. Luck in the hunt.

Thanks Goalrush. Believe me it is a lot worse than the pic shows. The soil here is real rough on older nickels.
