got a new tesoro Cibola New to relic hunting

I just got this metal detector and im a new to relic hunting. I just turn 18. I was wondering if anyone has this detector and how they like. I live in Southport NC on the Cape Fear and if anyone has any info on good civil war battle sites around southport i would greatly appreciate it. Just email me at [email protected]. Ive already found 2 3-ring bullets and a 1837 dime with what it looks like liberty sitting in a chair.

I am still waiting for my Cibola to arrive, hopefully it is at the Post Office today. Tell more about what you have found so far. How deep were the treasures found? I was to Parris Island SC last September for my daughters graduation from Marine boot camp. Nice area down there but being from Maine I did not like the weather. Good Luck!

Sorry, I can't tell ya anything about the machine. The dime you found, if it is an 1837, is the first year they made Seated Liberty Dimes... Looks like it has some pretty good value to it...

Both of the bullets were about 5 to 6 in deep the dime was only about 4inches. This detector gets really good depth especially if you super tune it. It depth is just as deep as my dads Minelab excailber 1000. I went today but I didnt find anything, didnt stay long.

They're good relic detectors, guys in the south use them a lot, that's what they are known for.
