Howdy all,
First I want to thank everyone for all the great comments on my banner find. My head is still in the clouds. I had a hard time sleepin last night thinkin about what might show up next. I didn't get to hit my new field today as it was full of players practicing. So I headed across town to some old faithful fields. No matter how often I hunt these fields, I always manage a keeper. As per usual I was gettin lots of clad and trash. Midway through the hunt I pop out this ring. It is a Mormon ring with the letters CTR on it. This stands for " Choose The Right". I always manage to find the little junk ones with the green shield on em and the same CTR. I knew they made good ones but until tonight I had not found one. It was a bit outta shape right outta the dirt. So I also included pics of the before and after as I reshaped and polished it. I like it when they come back to life and shine. Thanks for lookin, and luck in the hunt.

What detector are you finding your silver with? :coffee2: ???
:help:I am trying to break back into the hobby with a Bounty hunter discovery 2000 any suggestions? I just became a member of this site too I am really getting things together to have an awesome season, Got a boat/motor meeting people all over Baton Rouge that own land in historical locations asking and & getting permission to search. This area 70769 is pretty good with historical sites first Europeans 1698/9. Congrats on the ring :headbang:
Hoping to meet others in the area that want to go on hunts later once I get use to this machine or get an upgrade I will look into documenting hunts and posting you tube.

Welcome to T-Net. The majority of my finds are made with my Whites MXT. Your BH 2000 will do the trick just fine though. Just be patient. Remember you will only get out of this hobby what you are willing to put in. Luck in the hunt.

I think I'm going to make a folder called Juju and load it with text responses like "Beautiful gold ring bud" and "Great finds again", etc.., so I can just copy and paste to save me some time every day when I read your posts. ;D
Keep it comin bud!
