Any value to this? Not in bad shape just a little rust. I don’t know anything about them but I saw it on the tree lawn on junk day and just loved the look of it. Figure Ide use it for storage if nothing else. Nice save! A little cleaning and you will have a great storage trunk! :icon_thumleft:

I believe there was a shelf that fit in the top area.

Anyone have a guess on a value? Please and thanks.

No idea on value but the flat top trunks are more desireable than the arch tops

If it is missing the tray that goes on top you can cut it's worth in half.My guess is 100 bucks if that.

I'm thinking that is worth what somebody would pay for it. Probably 50 bucks at best.....

who cares? I want the 55

Obviously the lid has been removed. What kind of shape are the hinges in, and the attachment points - need pics for that.

I have two steamer trunks packed with linens.

Top was removed but easily tacks back on. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1529606132.325375.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1529606153.084683.jpg

Not worth a ton of money 50-100 bucks...but still cool as hell. and FREE is always a great price

5 years ago I sold a nice complete flat-top and also a humpback, to pickers, $50 for the pair. They were probably worth twice that.

Cleaned up. $145 to $150.

Anyone know how best to clean it?

Ive bought them at 30 - 40 and sold them 75 to 100
