Got out for a while today. Hit the same field that I found that 1828 large cent in on Monday. Still wasn't able to get too far into the field. Corn is still there and it's planted too close to really get in between the rows and swing the coil. I found a large array of fired rounds today, from modern shotgun slugs to musket balls. Also found what appears to be a horse bit? Not really sure. Coolest find of the day was probably the piece of the toy gun. Last find of the day was the button. Says "The Freeland" on the front with a map of the U.S. Not the best of days but at least i was able to get out for a while today. Thanks for looking.

Not much to look at on the back of the button but here it is. Very corroded.

Alot of modern shotgun slugs! Best be careful, looks like the boys do some heavy huntin in your huntin' spot ;) Nice musket balls and end of.....looks like a Derringer grip. And that long piece of lead with the pin hole in the top is a fishing weight fashioned out of more than likely, a musketball. Looks like a pretty good day to me!!! ;)
