My daughter Shannon decided to join me today and we started at the old Dr.'s house that we went to last spring. Nothing there but the junk we left behind the last time....packed up went for lunch and I took her to the new place I have been frequenting for the past couple of weeks. Started out trying to find the pic-nic area that I had been told about but after wondering around there for a half hour we walked down to the house where I found the Luxembourg coin. We weren't there 10 minutes and she pulls out a 1912 Kopek! :o Then she gets a 1944 Mercury! :o I'm thinkin.....OMG! I better get to huntin hard! So after celebrating her finds I get busy....get a Wheat...then another...then a regular penny. She finds another Wheat and an old knife to wrap up her day. I find an old ring (not valuable) a car and a Dubarry lipstick tube. We only had about an hours worth of hunting there before dark was setting in so we reluctantly left the rest behind.....till next time!!! ;)

Nana ;)

Nice finds you to made today. Having a partner is nice. Makes for a more comfortable outing. Keep up the good work. You are getting on a treasure hunting role. Don't get off that path.

I go as often as I can with Nana, but with a 3 year old and expecting a new one, it's hard to find time!

Hey mom! Did you get Shannon her own machine for Christmas? Good work you two. Mom & daughter teams often do well together.

No...not a new one. I have two...just in case someone will go with me! ;D

Now after that great find maybe it won't be so difficult! 8)

Sounds like a great time! :) In about 5 more years I might try taking my daughter out hunting. Right now she would just play in the mud or run away.LOL

Nanners and Shanners,

I love this story. Congratulations on all the coins. I'm so happy for you both.
