Got a 1900 V Nickel and a 1927 Buffalo Nickel today metal detecting!

I was amazed how well they cleaned up. What I used are the crafting cleaner pencil that from the Wal-Mart crafting supllies section. They work great on all coins. $3.98 for 10 sticks

Those are in nice shape!! I have a theory about nickels. The nickels I find on high ground with good drainage clean up really nice, other areas, not so much. Everything pictured came off hillsides or hill tops. Yours cleaned up great, good to see some old nickels, one of my favorite signals to dig.......
