Got some loose halves Friday. Teller pointed these 2 out and said she got them in a Burger King deposit. One was a 1982 Commemorative of Washington's 250th birthday (90%er). The other was a 1992 clad proof of the 500th anniversary of Columbus voyage.

Funny thing is, book on the clad 1992 is about double that of the silver 1982, but they took a bit of a beating since being busted out of their cases.

"We need some money for Burger King."
"Here, I got some 50 cent pieces. Help me get 'em out of these plastic holders."

Sheesh,
Wally

Hey...they had to deal with the munchies somehow man. Its how it is.

Yeah, I paid for a two liter of coke at a gas station last night with an Ike, and the cashier said "hey I got a real silver dollar at my other job yesterday "(McDonalds) an 1881 cc Morgan, some girl came through the drive thru, and ordered a chicken sandwich and paid with that, the casshier asked her if she knew what she was doing and she said she wanted some food, so ok. Redbook says 350.00 in VF20. Crazy!
