Well, I finally got away from the business today, and spent the morning
hunting an old resort area in the Colorado Rockies. It's been hunted fairly
hard over the years, but there's still a few goodies. I wonder how many
times that Merc had been walked over. Notice the rust spot... a nail was
laying right across the dime. The XLT said 82 on one swing, and 06 on the
return swing. It was a good enough signal, that I had to dig it. Kind of run
of the mill finds, but it was great to get out again. My arm feels like that
post that had the Hercules arm in one of the pictures. Truly, youth is
wasted on the young! I need some opinions on the owl piece. It appears to
be the half toungue of a womens, victorian style, belt buckle.
Well, here's some pics for about 4 hours of hunting.
