Hello all!

Well she is gorgeous to me :-) I went back to a spot I've hunt a few times... that has yielded Indians, Buffalo's, a Barber Dime and a Button from the War of 1812...

I had the sensitivity cranked to 25 on my X-Terra 70 and I was going slow examining every sound... I was getting a solid signal in all directions at 10"...

So I dug... and here is the gorgeous green lady....

Yes she is gorgeous. I would not attempt to clean her up maybe very little if that. I personaly think when
you find coins in that great of condition leave em alone. It gives it character and it shows more of it's true
100 and something years in the ground. WOW that's along time. Nuff said.

very nice! I agree with Novaman, it looks great the way it is!

That IS one gorgeous coin!! I would leave it as is. The patina just gives it so much more character. Congrats!

Congrats on an awesome find! I found an IH a couple days ago that has that same sweet green. keep it up

Great looking coin with nice detail. If you can get it cleaned up she sure will be a beauty. The liberty is still visible even through the green crud ::)

Very Nice!!! Keep it as it is. I don't think my detector could find one of those at 10" deep. But it has really surprised me so far.

Happy Hunting
