I found this candle stick holder and after a quick examination i deemed it worth a $2.99 gamble. I believe its made of pewter, Its very solid and well built, It has a lot of patina and looks like it has seen a lot of use. It is riveted together, I did all the goggling i could and only found 2 pictures from the same add of someone selling a pair. It only said, the think it was made from between 1850-1890 and that its made of pewter. I was wondering if anyone else could shed some light on this....get it? Any info would be appreciated!

i dont have time to get pictures of what i find but this picture is from the ad and is the exact same thing candle stick.jpg

Shame it wasnt silver. Every once in a while you can find some good recycling items that are worth some money in those type of shops.
