Goodwill copper score

In the little outside section of the local goodwill, they 5 boxes of wire. 4 of them were 1000' rolls of telephone wire and the 5th was solid core copper wire, the copper being about the diameter of #2 pencil lead. All five boxes were marked $4.99 each. I snatched up all of them. Wanted the tele wire for running a camera down to one of my deer feeders. The copper wire weighed over 15 lbs! Scrap value alone of the copper is $45

These types of scores are actually my favorite kind... 100% liquid. It is like walking into a store and paying $4.99 for a $50 bill. Awesome.
 

You can get a lot better price than scrap selling the copper wire as usable wire. Check out the price for new wire.
