while detecting a section of the esopus creek that was washed out durning herricane irene i spoted the fins sticking part way out of the embankment so i started digging this out took me a while but i found WW2 PRACTICE BOMB!!

my son fisher2 say he is gonna keep it
and when he first seen it he was hopping it was not live lol
turns out to be a m38 practice bomb from 1946
i know he is my son but a say banner after all how many people can say the found a bomb in the usa?
