Hey all, vp here. It has been a LONG time since I've been on here or posted anything but I have to say it really gets me pumped up seeing all of the cool stuff you guys are finding !!!

I made it out twice last weekend first to an 1830's B&B that we got permission to detect, I found the seated quarter (my first!) and the merc dime there.
Sunday Paco took me to a spot that he had discovered. It was on state land out in the middle of nowhere but had all of the characteristics of where the colonials would have settled. Sure enough he and another buddy of ours hit it the week before and found an iron patch and then they each got a coin there. So I was excited when we hit it, he found an 1771 KGIII and I got the 1817, 1801 large cents. I also found a KGII with no readable date on it.

That was all in the iron patch, can't wait to go back and look for strays on the outskirts!

take care!

Long time no see VP. Looks like you guys have a pretty good spot there. Congrats on the coppers and the silver.

Nice to see you posting again, multiple large copper results are always nice.........

Most of those coins would be in the top finds of all time form many. Congrats on some awesome finds.:icon_thumright:

Three coppers and a Liberty Seated Quarter as well? You did real well. Congrats!

Congrats on all the great finds!

Nice to see you posting again. Excellent 1801 for condition, and I'd take a KG in a heartbeat. Never dug one.

Cheers,

Buck

Welcome back.

3 good coppers, great hunt!

Awesome finds, nice silver! Looks like you're making up for lost time.

Nice to see a KGII with some detail. None of mine survive that well.

thanks everyone - good to be back !

Alright, VP! Nice to see you guys back. Kyle and I are taking a year off from digging. Life changes, but all is great. We will be back in the Spring of 2014. Say Hi to Paco for me.

Nice coppers. I have dug many of those myself, BUT I have never dug a seated liberty quarter. I consider that a much tougher coin to find.
