Things have been a little slow here lately in Vegas, finds have cooled down as the weather has gotten hotter. I tell myself this wont last forever just enjoy yourself and kep lookin for that hotspot that opens up.Saturday morning I did my usual routine looking for construction activity downtown stopped at a few usual spots that i usually hunt, after three hours and 48 cents in clad and the temperature already pushin the 100 degree mark i was thinking of calling it a early hunt Thats when I noticed they tore up quite a long path on one of the earliest streets downtown. With new enthusiasm I got ready to hunt, right away I spotted a old bottle laying right on the surface I new this was going to be a great hunt. Fast forward to today after going back and making sure I hit every square inch from yesterday and finding I left a few good finds here is what I found for my two day effort.found a 1939 New york Worlds fair pocket knife pretty rough but can still read and make out the Trylon and Perisphere. My favorite is the Art Deco brooch sadly just costume burt still awesome. Also can someone help me identity the small piece that resembles a button that is not, it has the letters VCP across a anchor and is thicker than a button and has some weight to it. Amazing two days and some great silver and tokens, im one happy guy.
