Good prospecting eastern Oregon

Hey all, I'm lookin at moving to eastern Oregon, by baker city. Are there any gold panning areas around there that will produce good gold? I'm into detecting, sluicing, sniping, crevicing... So placer gold is a must

O'Toole's" Where to find gold in Oregon",also " Gold Mining in Ore," lots of other books as well. Plenty of Associations and clubs over there too.G /L

I'd try the powder river drainage.
